BABY GUNS In the series titled Baby Guns, I use art to travel back in time to give my younger self the power to defend herself and to seek solace through unrealized justice. By intervening in my history through a creative act, I moved beyond the role of victim and experienced my identity in its totality. Baby Guns was exhibited at The Emma Willard School, an internationally recognized women's prep school. Teachers used the exhibition as a basis for discussions of identity, women's roles and violence against women. I describe the series further in my Baby Guns statement (see link above).
